Information on WECA’s Green Business Grants

West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has recently opened a £1million fund to applications from small and medium-sized businesses across Bristol, Bath, North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, to help improve their energy efficiency.

Grants of between £1,000 and £15,000 are available for improvements to the energy efficiency of buildings, including insulation, heating and lighting and/or purchases to improve business operations, such as election vehicles and more efficient production equipment.

Darren said:

“It’s great to see new funding from WECA for small and medium-sized businesses which will help to create greener, more energy efficient businesses. At a time when urgent action on climate change is needed more than ever, and with Parliament, Bristol City Council and other councils across the UK declaring a climate emergency, I encourage all business owners in Bristol North West to apply for WECA’s funding to work towards a greener future.”
