Ask a question.

I have a small team but we work really hard to answer your questions.

If you e-mail us, you’ll normally get a written response within four to six weeks. Mail handling and security checks in the House of Commons can cause substantial delays for letters sent via post.

Remember, we can only answer residents who live in Bristol North West.

In addition to written responses, the biggest issues raised by my constituents – that’s to say, the issues I receive the most emails about – will be featured in my new policy explainer series on YouTube, What’s in my Inbox?. It’s worth taking a look at this video playlist before you get in touch to see if I have already answered your question.

These monthly videos are scheduled to go live as YouTube Premieres so that I can join you to watch the video at the premiere and answer any questions you have on the topics discussed in the live chat. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel to see when a video has been scheduled in your subscriptions feed.

Constituents can also to talk to me about any issues that are important to them at one of my constituency events. (Surgery calls are limited and therefore prioritised for constituents who are receiving casework support to resolve individual problems.)

Please note, I’m required to manage conflicts of interest between my role as a constituency MP and a minister. That means that businesses or other organisations seeking to lobby about government policy or funding, whether directly or indirectly via constituents, must be referred to the Cabinet Office.
